BBNaija: Pere, Nini, Sammie, Yousef, Jaypaul win N1m challenge
Team Amazing, housemates of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), Shine Ya Eye live reality show, on Saturday won the WAW detergent challenge.
The challenge tasked housemates on writing songs and poems on the WAW brand and its unique offerings to advertise the brand.
Before the challenge, the BBNaija housemates were divided into four teams – amazing, WAW Effect, Colourful and Classic WAW.
The housemates were also provided with WAW brand information materials to study carefully before the challenge.
The winning housemates in team amazing – Pere, Nini, Sammie, Yousef and Jaypaul – also had a winning prize of N1 million to share.

The amazing team members would also enjoy a year’s supply of WAW detergent products.
The sixth edition of the reality television show, which started on July 24, had 22 housemates participating.
The housemates for the season are: Angel, Peace, Niyi, Saga, Pere, Jackie B, Tega, Arinola, Liquorose, Maria, Sammie, Emmanuel, Boma, Cross, Yousef, Princess, Saskay, Nini, Yerins, Whitemoney, Jaypaul and Beatrice.
Meanwhile, an Islamic Human Rights organisation, Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) and the Arewa Youth Advisory Forum (AYCF) have called for the ban of the reality TV show.
According to MURIC, “The Federal Government should wake up because no state government can ban it. If the Federal Government ban BBNaija, it will be like Twitter, which will be good riddance to bad rubbish”.
The AYCF on its part said, “a lot of people are watching [BBNaija] to see acts of immorality, these sexual things flaunting their nudity, and they made it look like a ‘blue film’, so that is to be discouraged”.
