A special polo tournament was organised for intending couple, Yusuf Buhari, the only son of Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari; and Kano princess, Zahara Bayero.

Rumour of the wedding first surfaced online about 4 months ago. According to a source quoted by many reports, “Preparations are on top gear for the grand event. As the tradition provides, the parents of the groom have met with the parents of the bride to express Yusuf’s interest in marrying Zahra”.

Yusuf Buhari graduated from the University of Surrey, Guildford, also in the UK in 2016. His intending wife, Zahra Bayero, is currently studying architecture at a university in the United Kingdom.
