Gunmen abduct mother of Bayelsa SSG

Mrs Betianah Benson, the mother of the secretary to the Bayelsa state government, Kombowei Benson, has been abducted by yet to be identified gunmen.

NewsWireNGR gathered that, 80-year-old Madam Betinah Benson was abducted at about 10pm on Tuesday at her old Assembly Quarters residence, Yenagoa. The abductors were said to be in military fatigues.

Although the Nigeria Police Force, Bayelsa State Command is yet to issue an official statement, sources close to the SSG say that the kidnappers have established contact with the victim’s family.
