Four Governors lead delegation to finalise Yusuf Buhari’s wedding with Emir of Bichi’s daughter

Four state Governors on Sunday led a delegation to the Emir of Kano palace to formalise plans for the wedding of President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf Buhari.

Yusuf is currently engaged to a daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Zarah Ado Bayero. The Emir of Bichi is younger brother of the Emir of Kano.

The delegation led by Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State included Governors Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Babagana Zulum of Borno and Deputy Governor Nasir Gawuna of Kano State.

Some members of the first family are also at the palace to finalise plans for the wedding, which NewsWireNGR learnt will hold between August and September.

Ex-Governors Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Ali Modu Sherif (Borno) and Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun) are also at the palace alongside Abubakar Malami (SAN), Attorney-General of the Federation.

Yusuf, the only son of President Buhari reportedly fell in love with Zarah, 19 while they both did their undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom

Zarah, is the second daughter of the Emir and she studied Architecture while Yusuf, the only son of the President in 2018 bagged his Master’s Degree.
