Gunmen abduct Taraba Lawmaker, Bashir Mohammed

A lawmaker representing Taraba State House of Assembly, Barr. Bashir Mohammed has been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday.

A family source who spoke anonymously said Mohammed, who represents Nguroje Constituency was abducted from his residence behind Dr Jao Eid prayer ground in Jalingo.

The source said no security operative showed up to stop the operation which lasted for three hours.
