Just In: Police seal APC National Secretariat in Abuja

Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu has ordered that the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Abuja be sealed off.

While filling this report, entrance into the Secretariat is being restricted and members of the National working Committee of the party were not allowed into the Secretariat.

Members of staff and journalists were however,  allowed to walk in.

The shutdown could be in relation to the recent leadership crisis that has been rocking the party.

The Appellate Court sitting in Abuja last week upheld the suspension of the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

Chief Giadom is laying claims to the position of the APC National Chairman in an acting capacity. Butt some of his colleagues in the National Working Committee said the former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who is indisposed, is the Acting National Chairman.
