The court’s six judges have decided to nullify President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win as declared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Supreme Court majority decision:

1. IEBC failed to conduct the election in compliance with constitutional provisions.

2. IEBC committed irregularities and illegalities.

3. The irregularities and illegalities affected the integrity of the Presidential election.

Outside the court, opposition supporters have been chanting “Uhuru must go!”, after the election result was ruled invalid.
