Again, Three-storey Building Collapses in Lagos And Here’s What We Know

A three-storey building has collapsed at Ilufe road, Alaba international market Ojo, Lagos.

The building, consisting of eight blocks of flats, collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday.

Adesina Tiamiyu, general manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), confirmed this in a statement.

He said no life was in the incident.

Tiamiyu said investigation conducted at the scene revealed that the building had showed some signs of being distressed.

He said LASEMA and other rescue agencies were on ground to prevent any secondary incident or total collapse that may lead to “unnecessary loss of lives”.
