Breaking: APC Names Bollaji Abdullahi Spokesman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) appoints Bollaji Abdullahi as a new spokesman for the party. Former Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, is taking over the role succeeding the former spokesman, Lai Mohammed.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who is also from Kwara as Abdullahi, resigned from the post to take up appointment as Minister of Information and National Orientation more than a year ago.

The embattled Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Timi Frank, tried but failed to act in that capacity. He has now taken the party to court, after his suspension was announced.

Abdullahi was confirmed as the new spokesman, at a mini-convention at the New Chelsea Hotel in Abuja at 11am.
