Edo Women Tells APC Godwin Obaseki’s Wife To Withdraw Comment Calling Edo Women Prostitute

Former Edo State Executive Director on Poverty Alleviation Agency and Women mobilization who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) penultimate week on Friday threatens to mobilize women in state on a mass protest against Mrs Besty Obaseki over her comment.

The politician who gave Mrs Obaseki four days to tender an unreserved apology to Edo women insisted that comment is insult on what Edo women stand for.

It would be recalled that the All Progressive Congress, APC, Governorship candidate’s wife in an interview was reported to have said that PDP’s 12 years of bad leadership forced Edo women into prostitute abroad, a remark that pitched her against PDP women.

Igbafe while reacting to publication in national dailies which described her as political prostitutes also blasted the APC woman leader Dr Aisosa Amadasun for the attack on her.

She said “If they said am a political prostitute what can they say about Senator Ehigie Uzamere who recently defected back to the APC? You see politics is all about interest, just as the saying that there is no permanent friend or enemy in politics.

“If Obaseki’s wife who in an interview called Edo women prostitutes fails to apologise within four days Edo women would mobilized against her in mass protest and she will not enter government house”
