Buhari Storms Edo For Godwin Obaseki Campaign Rally

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Edo State for the All Progressives Congress Mega Rally to round up its campaign for the Edo State governorship election.

The President aircraft touched down at 10:20AM.

While in Benin City, the President is expected to visit the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, Eheneden Erediauwao, before attending the mega rally.

The rally is to hold at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

The party is going all out to ensure that its candidate, Godwin Obaseki is elected governor of Edo state at the elections holding on Saturday, September 10.

National Chairman of the APC, Odigie Oyegun says: “In seven and the half years, Edo state has changed.” .

Oyegun says: “Oshiomhole has done his bit and he is very passionate, visionary and committed. We want continuity.”

In remarks, the Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole urged the people to come out en masse to vote in Godwin Obaseki as his administration gradually winds down. He is applauded massively as he dances to the amusement of the supporters.

Oshiomhole says: “President Buhari has promised to give the people of Esan LGA good water.” Oshiomhole proceeded to lists his achievements as he wonders what change the PDP plans to bring to the people.

Oshiomhole tells the APC supporters: “You don’t have any candidate worth voting for in the PDP.”
