Breaking: Unrelenting Niger Delta Avengers Blow Up Chevron Oil Wells

Unrelenting members of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) have blown up Chevron oil wells in the Niger Delta region.

This is in spite of heavy military presence in the region.

According to the group, the Chevron oil wells affected are RMP 24 and RMP 23, described as Chevron’s highest producing wells.

In its Tweeter handle @NDAvengers early morning of Wednesday, the group said the wells were blown up at about 3:44a.m.

It said “With the heavy presence of 100 Gunboats, 4 Warships and Jet Bombers NDA blew up Chevron Oil Well RMP 23 and RMP 24 3:44am this Morning.

“RMP 24 and RMP 23 are Chevron Swamp Highest producing Wells.”

In yet another following tweet, NDA said its success in the Wednesday’s operation showed that the Nigerian military were only good at harassing Nigerian civilians.

“This is to show the whole world that Nigeria Military is good in harassing innocent Civilians,” it noted.

The tweet did not give details of the exact location of the blown up chevron oil wells in the region neither could any staff of the oil multinational be reached for confirmation.
