Faleke Says Bello’s ‘illegal’ Govt Sponsored 5 Assembly Members To Impeach Kogi Speaker

The Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the November 21, governorship election in Kogi State, Mr. James Abiodun Faleke, on Tuesday, accused the Governor Yahaya Bello of being behind the impeachment of Speaker of the state Assembly, Momoh Jimoh Lawal, by five members of the House.

Faleke, who took to his Twitter handle, @JAFaleke to condemn the impeachment, by five out of 20 members of Kogi State House of Assembly described it “as another illegality sponsored by the illegal government of Bello.”

He said: “I have just been told that five out of 20 members of Kogi State House of Assembly supported by the illegal government of Yahaya Bello has impeached the Speaker.

“The impeachment of the Speaker by five out of 20 members of KGHA is another illegality sponsored by the illegal government of Yahaya Bello.

“The impunity and recklessness under Bello in Kogi State must stop. We cannot afford to be in the news for the wrong reasons always.”
