President Buhari Sacks Head Of Service Of The Federation

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the removal of the head of service of the federation, Danladi Kifasi with immediate effect. Kifasi has been asked to proceed on terminal leave.

No replacement announced yet.

A letter signed by the SGF asked Kifasi to proceed on terminal leave starting from today.

A replacement will be announced later in the week according to presidency sources.

The current Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Barrister Danladi Kifasi from Taraba State is from the same North-East zone with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir David Lawal who is from Adamawa State.

PRNigeria gathered that Barrister Danladi Kifasi who had served as Permanent Secretary in several ministries including Federal Ministry of Finance and Petroleum has prepared for smooth handover in the event of the announcement of new HOS who may likely from the Southern part of Nigeria
