Former special adviser to Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, Alhaji Muktar Umar Yerima, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes a Commission (EFCC).
Mr. Yerima who is the incumbent Chairman of Tarauni Local Government Area (LGA) of Kano State was picked up early this morning over allegations bordering on corruption.
Sahara reporters reports that he is alleged to have cornered over N65m approved to participants in the Millennium Development Goals empowerment program.
