President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians and the international community that no corrupt politician, either in his All Progressives Congress (APC) or in the opposition Peoples Democratic party (PDP), will escape justice.
Buhari gave the assurance on Tuesday evening during an interview with CNN’s christiane Amanpour.
“There isn’t going to be any party member or personality that can escape justice.”
President went ahead to promise a negotiation with the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists over the rescue of the abducted school girls back to their parents..
“We want to bring them back safe to their parents and school and rehabilitate them.”
“We have to be very careful about negotiations with Boko Haram, but I can not be against negotiation, we want Chibok Girls back too”- President Buhari responds to Amanpour.
He however added that “Nothing will work until the country is secure” as he discusses security issues in Niger Delta and Boko Haram in North East.
