Breaking: PDP Sacks Chairman Over-mismanaging Of Election Campaign Funds

Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, sacks it’s chairman, Captain Tunji Shelle, was on Monday sacked by 34 members of the State Working Committee.

While the National Heaquarters still debating over the ouster of the Adamu Mua’zu led National Working Committee, the Lagos state chapter leads with the ouster of Shelle.

The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party seems to have extended to its chapters and Shelle was immediately replaced by Kamaldeen Olorunoje.

The committee accused Shelle of mismanaging election campaign funds and manipulating the party’s primaries last year which ultimately led to the defeat of the PDP at the polls.
