Pastor Adeboye Says You’re Not A Tested Christian Until You Have Lived In Northern Nigeria

Enoch Adejare Adeboye is a Nigerian pastor and the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He took to his twitter handle @PastorEAAdeboye to talk about the challenges suffered by Nigerian Christians in Northern Nigeria.

We’d assume the Pastor implies the struggles Nigerians have had to contend with living with Boko Haram terrorists who have not only killed Christians in large numbers, burnt churches and also killed Muslims as well as kidnapped School girls in Chibok..

He wrote on Friday, “You are not a tested Christian until you have lived in the North of Nigeria. #InChristAlone”…

Boko Haram, officially called Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’Awati Wal-Jihad, is a jihadist group based in northeastern Nigeria, also active in Chad, Niger and northern Cameroon.

The group is led by Abubakar Shekau. Estimates of the group’s membership varies between 7,000 and 10,000 fighters. The group initially had links to al-Qaeda, but in 2014 it expressed support for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant before pledging formal allegiance to it in March 2015.
