Adamu Mu’azu Not On The Run, Says PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has debunked reports that the party’s national chairman, Ahmadu Adamu Muazu has jetted out of the country due to some disagreements with other leaders of the party.

The PDP national chairman was said to have been absent at the party’s presidential campaign in Yobe State after which he was said to have left the country.

But PDP national publicity secretary, Olisa Metuh said the reports are not true as the PDP national chairman is very much around.
“The national chairman was in Katsina with the President yesterday (Saturday), the national chairman had a meeting with me and the National Working Committee yesterday (Saturday), the national chairman I saw him this morning (Sunday). So I don’t know where the story is coming from.

Metuh added: “He is very much in the country so the story is baseless, unfounded and without substance.”
