Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano state says to the best of his knowledge as a chieftain of the opposition, All Progressives Congress, APC, his party’s presidential candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari is hale and hearty & even healthier than President Jonathan.
Governor Kwankwaso said this while addressing newsmen in Kano yesterday February 22nd.
“By my judgement, since we finished our party primary elections, he is sound, hale and fit to rule this country. In fact I feel he is healthier than the incumbent occupier of the seat because he went to all the states on campaigns in addition to other engagements that come in between,” he said.
The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP led by Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has repeatedly said Buhari health is dangerous to the polity as he is too frail to preside over the affairs of Nigeria and should not be allowed to contest the polls so as to avoid the Late President Umaru Yar’adua’s outcome in office.
The Kano state governor counters that argument as he has also said that the 73-years-old Buhari who flew to the United Kingdom and is alleged to have gone to visit doctors, is much healthier the President who is much younger…
Since Kwankwaso’s defection from the ruling party to the opposition, he has continued to stay critical of the President and the government led by him…
