“Enough Of State Burials” Fayose’s Campaign Message For Jonathan Against Buhari Will Make You Shudder

Nigeria’s Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has come under attack my influencers and social media users over the campaign message he published today, 19th February 2015 on the front page of Todays Punch Newspaper, a national daily.
In the cover as seen pictured, Fayose urged Nigerians to choose life over death, indicating that a Muhammadu Buhari’s Presidency signifies death and a Goodluck Jonathan’s regime is life.
The Campaign cover went on to read, “Enough of State Burials, Nigerians Vote Wisely, Vote Goodluck Jonathan. Northern Presidency wait till 2019”.
This is low. Too low. Too desperate and certainly not going to help your cause. RT @GovAyoFayose: pic.twitter.com/m9rijSEfhq

— Tunde Leye (@tundeleye) January 19, 2015 Some went on to attack the Newspaper for accepting to publish such a hate message in an electioneering year.. With due respect @MobilePunch , you shouldn't have accepted that Fayose ad. It is insensitive and highly irresponsible.
— abd'aziz bakare LP (@Backarray) January 19, 2015 @toluogunlesi @MobilePunch Should the punch newspaper even put such an inciting advert in their paper? Isn't it sad that they have no class?
— Zahrah musa (@Zahrahmusa) January 19, 2015 @toluogunlesi @MobilePunch ; My God!!! I'm not surprised at Fayose but that Punch will even print that!!! Its incendiary !!
— DR nikkijagz (@nikkijagz) January 19, 2015 Tasteless RT @nnamdianekwe: Can't Fayose advertise GEJ's achievements? What sort of advert is that? Personally I am offended by that advert.
