APC Petitions NSA Over Existence Of Killer Squad In Ekiti By Governor Fayose

Following alleged persistent threats to the lives of citizens under Governor Ayodele Fayose’s government, the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State has petitioned the National Security Adviser (NSA) , Col. Sambo Dasuki, to probe into this alleged compromise of the security of the State.

THISDAY reports that a petition signed by APC State Chairman , Chief Jide Awe, noted that? even though there were pockets of security breaches in the state during electioneering campaigns, including the tear-gassing of Governor Kayode Fayemi by the police, the situation degenerated when Fayose allegedly led thugs to the court to beat up the judges and court records in the Chief Judge’s office torn.

Copied with the terse petition were President Goodluck Jonathan, Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Suleiman Abba, Director General of DSS, Mr Ita Ekpeyong , Ekiti State Director of DSS, Mr Samuel Tamuno and Ekiti State Commissioner of Police?, Mr Taiwo Lakanu.

Dispelling the speculation, the State Secretary of the party, Dr Tope Aluko, said the false alarm being raised by Awe is a diversionary tactic meant to distract the government from prosecuting him for the alleged murder charge hanging on his neck.
