Following the outcome of the All Progressives Congress, APC primary elections, which clearly showed General Buhari leading with over 7000 votes.
Nigeria’s former vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, also a contender in the polls has been the first to congratulate the leading aspirant as seen in the embedded tweet posted by him.
Buhari who has obviously won to fly the party’s flags ahead of the 2015 general elections scored whooping 3000 votes plus at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Coming a distant second is the Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who seems to be performing way beyond expectation, and appears to have earned more votes than former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, who is generally regarded as the most experienced politician among the lot.
The Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, is also putting put some contest, but he clearly lies in a distant fourth position behind Mr. Atiku, who seems to have received the third highest votes at the moment.
Not entirely surprising in fifth place is the Publisher of Leadership Newspapers, Sam Nda-Isaiah, who clearly is the least experienced politician of the lot.
Mr Nda-Isaiah is yet to get a ballot so far as at the time of this report.
