The chairman, South west mobilization committee of the Peoples Democratic Party and flag bearer of the party for Ogun East senatorial district in 2015 election, Buruji Kashamu had dragged the former President to court to stop the launch.

The court granted an injunction barring the ex-president not to launch the book.

Kashamu had alleged that the book contains ?defamatory content against his person.

Extracts from the three-volume memoir by the former Nigerian president reveals how critical he is of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. Obasanjo also revealed that it was the governors that masterminded his third-term bid.

He also said he had revealed a lot of other things and urged those who had contrary evidence to make such evidence public.

The book launch which was well attended was low keyed and held at the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja. Obasanjo however kept mute on the injunction, declaring that it was a matter for the courts.
