‘London Goodluck’ Bus Adverts May Be Fake

by Oluwatosin Fatoyinbo
Sometimes in June, an image and a short video clip of what was perceived by many as a presidential campaign by President Goodluck Jonathan appeared on Public Bus in what looked like a UK street. The banner simply read ‘London Goodluck’, there was nothing on the face of it to link with the President but it was widely believed to be a campaign strategy.
Indications have however emerged that the banner may be have been edited into the image.
In an email conversation with the The Cable, Mr Davids Edwards of the Transport For London, which oversees public transport in London said that the adverts could not have originated from any of their advertising partners and that the photograph may have been edited to include the London Goodluck banner.
