DHQ Refutes Report on Release Of Chibok Girls

Against the widespread news on a purported release of Chibok School Girls today, the Nigerian Defence Headquarters has refuted the report.

The Director Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said that : “the story circulating in respect of the release of the Chibok girls is not true please.”

He added that “The buses that drove into the barracks were conveying other individuals.”

Meanwhile PRNigeria gathered that the Defence Headquarters may address the press this week on some recent developments in the counter-insurgency campaigns were many terrorists were killed and others captured by the Nigerian troops.
