The Gunners stunned Aston Villa this evening at Villa Park after three goals in four first half minutes humbled the hosts. German midfielder, Mezut Ozil has been subject of criticisms for his performances recently but he has given his critics something to ponder on after his top notch performance on Saturday. He scored the first one and laid on the second for new boy, Danny Welbeck. Aly Cissokho compounded the woes of his team with an own goal for the third.
Prior to Saturday’s game, Aston Villa’s defence was the best so far this season having kept three clean sheets and conceding only one goal before meeting Arsenal. Villa faces another stern test next weekend when they square up against Chelsea.
Could this be the beginning of a goal feast for former Manchester United striker, Danny Welbeck?
