Jonathan Is Transforming The Economy Of Nigeria – Nwuche

The Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan as been commended despite the criticisms of it by Nigerians. The former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Chibudom Nwuche opined that the agenda was targeted at reformin the economy of the country.

Nwuche said this while receiving a political interest group, Goodluck One-on-One Network (GON) in his office in Abuja yesterday,  Nwuche described the groundswell of support for President Jonathan’s transformation agenda from credible groups and individuals in the country and beyond as a clear indication that majority of Nigerians were solidly behind President Jonathan.

“We will take on these idle critics and enemies of progress and expose them for what they are. Not even one of them can hold a torch against President Jonathan and in due course we will let them know that enough is enough”, he said.

The GON, comprising of a large body of volunteers aged between 18 – 40 years and drawn from across the thirty-six states of the Federation as well as the Federal capital Territory (FCT), said it will work assiduously to sustain the continued success of the agenda.

The group’s Co-ordinator, Hon. Love-god Nweze, said the network had already begun a massive mobilisation of Nigerian youths from all over the country to ensure that they exercise their civic rights and effectively participate in the democratic process, especially with regard to the upcoming general elections in the country.

He said the Nigerian youths had much more at stake in the future of the Nigerian nation than any other group and as such they cannot afford to fold their hands and watch the nation dragged back to a state of anomie
