Worshippers Killed As Building Owned By TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church Of Nations Collapses

Many worshippers are feared dead or injured,Friday afternnon, when a five-storey building owned by the Synagogue Church of All Nations collapsed in the Ikotun area of Lagos State, Nigeria. The headquarters of T.B. Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations collapsed Friday around 1pm.

The building, is an extension of the church,was reserved for foreigners and others who travel from long distances to the church for services or those on long term stay, pending the resolution of their problems.

Rescue efforts are currently ongoing, ambulances and officials of the state government were seeing assisting in conveying corpses and injured victims to the hospital.

Also, policemen from the Ikotun area have barricaded the entire church premises. The Lagos State Emergency Management Authority’s Public Relations Officer, Friday Adebayo said 15 people have been pulled from the wreckage of the six-floor structure, which had been under construction.

Several are reported to be trapped still and more details will follow be made available.
