Dominican Republic Bans Miley Cyrus From Performing In Their Territory

Here’s a little punishment for her previous wild stage performances. ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer, Miley Cyrus has been banned from performing in the Dominican Republic where she was billed to perform on the 13th of September. Tickets for the September show has been on sale since July and some went for as much as £200.

A statement from the Dominican Republic’s commission in charge of public performances read: ‘[Miley] ‘undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law.’

Miley Cyrus is known for her raunchy performances on stage, the most popular being the 2013 MTV VMA where she twerked and twerked while doing an erotic dance with Robin Thicke.

The 2014 MTV VMA comes up tomorrow, August 24, 2014 and Miley’s ‘Wrecking Ball’ video is nominated for the video of the year category.
