Aregbesola Will Flee Back To Lagos After His Rejection By Voters – Omisore

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore, yesterday at Oke Ila Orangun in Ifedayo Local Government Area of the state said  Aregbesola would flee back to Lagos on August 9 after his rejection by the electorate at the end of the governorship election.

“We are your people and not strangers who have invaded Osun and squandered our hard earned resources without recourse to the economic growth of our dear state and individual empowerment of our people.”

Thisday Newspaper reports that the PDP candidate urged the natives of Oke Ila not to be intimidated by the alleged evil machinations of desperate politicians who had perfected strategies to scare them away from exercising their civic rights at the polling booths.

Addressing a mammoth the party loyalists and admirers at the frontage of the palace of Orangun of Oke Ila Orangun, Oba Adedokun Omoniyi Abolarin, Omisore noted that “on August 9, I am telling you all that Aregbesola will escape back to Lagos after his  shameful defeat and outright rejection by the masses of Osun during the election.

According to him, “Ila Orangun-Oke Ila Orangun road is in a sorry state and they keep deploying propaganda  on the radio that they have fixed all the roads both in urban and rural communities in Osun,” promising that “when the PDP assume power, all the roads linking communities with cities will be rehabilitated.”

Also Omisore said: “we would revert to the former names of the schools merged and break the current monopoly of school uniforms by Aregbesola’s government, expressing optimism that “on August 10 after declaration of results, we would all be jubilating across the state.”

While accusing the APC-led administration of allegedly failing to conduct local government election as promised by Aregbesola some months back, Omisore cautioned parents to dissuade their children from being used as thugs by politicians during the election, stressing that “we do not rely on charms or traditional weapons to win election  on August. We are counting on God and our people to rescue Osun”.

The PDP governorship candidate was received by the Orangun of Oke Ila Orangun, Oba Abolarin who prayed for his success at the poll.
