Explosives Detonated At Rivers Court Premises

For the third time in unknown men detonate explosives at the premises of a high court in Ahoada East Local Government Area, Rivers State Monday.

Confidential court documents were items destroyed in the incident which has become a trend in the state.

Confirming the incident, the state Police Commissioner, Mr Tunde Ogunsakin, visited the court with the anti-bomb unit of the Police said no particle of explosives was recovered from the premises. He confirmed an attack on the place.

“The Commissioner of Police, Tunde Ogunsakin and his team visited the scene with the Police Anti Bomb team which collected samples for analysis at the scene of the attack,” the Police said.
