MOST APC MEMBERS WILL DECAMP TO PDP WHEN THEY HEAR OLUBOLADE IS CANDIDATE

A frontline aspirant in the June 2014 Ekiti state governorship election and the former minister of Police Affairs, Navy Capt. Caleb Olubolade says his candidature as PDP flag bearer will be an express ticket to victory as his emergence would collapse the structures and the membership of the All Progressive Congress in the State.

Speaking to e-Umbrella while submitting the party’s governorship nomination form today at the National Secretariat of the PDP , Olubolade said his wealth of experience, clout and proven leadership qualities were the defining features that separate his aspiration from the long list of other aspirants, saying ” my clout is felt all over the state as a bridge builder. Across my years of service, I have given leadership even to other political parties. If I am given the ticket of the PDP, members of the opposition APC in the state will defect to our great party.”

” What clearly distances my aspiration from others is that I am coming with a lot of experience . I am not coming for trial and error. I know the right keys to press and the best way and time to do it. I am offering myself as a vehicle for the rapid development of Ekiti state.”

He said his cardinal vision for the state would restore education, agriculture, technology and industrialization and very importantly, security to the front burner. Said he, ” Ekiti is in dire need of transformation and we are going to replicate what the PDP led Federal Government is doing at the centre. As we are doing this, we opening up the state for investments, local and international, so as to create wealth for our people. He further decried the current state of affairs in the state, describing Ekiti under Governor Fayemi as a farm land.
