The ever eloquent Niger State Governor, Babangida Aliyu is at it again over the G5 or G2 status as he insists that the governors are still together pushing the G7 agenda they started before some members left for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Aliyu who was speaking in Kano on Saturday when he paid a visit to the Kano state governor, Mr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at Kano Government House, Saturday, said nothing could separate him with governor Kwankwaso.
“We are still together as one indivisible body. We communicate, change ideas and are pursuing the same thing. Our goal is never different for your information”, he said.
The Governors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), had constituted the G7 governors speaking against internal party issues and had staged a walk out of the convention conducted by the party at the Eagle Square Abuja.
Governor Aliyu , has however dsipel public opinion that since five of its members had left for an opposition party, the group was no longer intact.
The Governor noted that the members that left were only pursuing the same objective through different approaches. The Kano State governor is one of those that left for the APC.
