PDP Sets Aside Politics Wishes Buhari ‘Happy 73rd’ Birthday, Gets Giant Birthday Card From Aides (Photos)
On December 17, 1942, Buhari was born in Daura, Katsina State, to his father Adamu and mother, Zulaihat.
He was Nigeria’s Head of State from December 31, 1983 to August 27, 1985 after overthrowing the government of President Shehu Shagari in a coup. He got overthrown also in a coup led by General Ibrahim Babangida in 1985.
Nigeria’s opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP today, set aside Political differences to congratulate President Buhari.
