Who is Mr Macaroni?

Adebowale David Ibrahim Adedayo popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, is a comedian, actor, and activist.

He was born in Ogudu, Lagos State, Nigeria on May 3rd, 1993. He attended Tendercare International Nursery and Primary School in Ojota, Ogudu, now Magodo, Isheri.

Education

He completed his secondary education at Babcock University High School in 2002.

Mr Macaroni attended four universities between 2009 to 2013.

He gained admission into Lead City University, Ibadan, in 2009 to study law but left in 200 level due to accreditation issues

To complete his law degree, Debo went to Houdegbe North American University, Cotonou but couldn’t finish for some reasons which led him to Afe Babalola University in 2012, where he started studying Theater Arts, a course he described as his first love.

He moved from Afe Babalola University to Redeemer’s University in 2013 to continue studying Theatre Arts where he finished and obtained his certificate.

He appeared in a few films and sitcoms, but his parents persuaded him to finish his schooling. This time, he chose to major in Theatre Arts and was accepted into a program at Afe Babalola University in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. However, several things conspired to prevent him from finishing his degree. Debo got accepted into Redeemer’s University Nigeria, Osun State, in 2013, and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Theatre Arts and Film Studies.

As of 2021 to this present moment (2022), Mr Macaroni is single and is not engaged to anyone although it has been trending that he got married to Mummy Wa, a skit maker popularly known as Kemz Mama but he debunked the news.

His entertainment career, especially his comedy, has made him win numerous awards. In 2020, he won both the Future Award Africa for the Content Category and the City People music’s award for Comedy act of the year. In 2021 he won the Afro X digital awards for the Influencer of the year category.

Mr Macaroni was an MC before becoming an Instagram hit, hosting events and appearing in a few Nigerian films, which provided him with revenue.

On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, the popular sketch creator announced this on his Twitter page, thanking followers for celebrating his birthday with him.

“I appreciate everyone’s kind words. It feels great to be 29! He tweeted, “Confession: I’m not married ooo.”

Macaroni’s admission comes weeks after he claimed to be walking down the aisle with Kemi Ikuseedun (a.k.a Mummy Wa).
