He was born on the 18th of October 1995 in his hometown, Douala, Cameroon.

In 2017, February 19 to be precise, his exit from AaB was announced after which he joined Henan Jianye FC at a fee of about 5 million Euros. Recently, on 26 February 2021, he signed a contract with Shanghai Shenhua, which is a Chinese Super League club.
