Plateau governor, Mutfwang, suspends two commissioners

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has suspended two incumbent Commissioners, a Special Adviser and a Liaison Officer.

Mutfwang announced the suspension in a statement by Mr Gyang Bere, his Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA), issued on Tuesday in Jos.

The suspended government officials included:

• Mr Chrysanthus Dawam, the commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning
• Mrs Jamila TukurTourism, the commissioner for Culture and Hospitality
• Mr Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development
• Mr Moses Sule, the Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency of the state

Bere said that the suspension took immediate effect.
