CGPA of 4.98: Sanwo-Olu gifts LASU’s best graduating student with N10m

The Lagos State Government (LASG) on Thursday gifted the best-graduating student at the Lagos State University (LASU), Olaniyi Olawale, with a sum of N10 million.

Govrnor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement at the 27th Convocation of the Lagos State University, which was held at the Buba Marwa Auditorium in LASU.

Olawale graduated from the Accounting Education Department with a cumulative CGPA of 4.98 out of the 5 obtainable.

Also confirming the N10m gift, Sanwo-Olu in a press statement said; “Today, during the 27th convocation ceremony of the Lagos State University, I presented a prize of 10 million Naira to Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, the valedictorian. Congratulations to him and all 11,195 graduates!”.
