Read Binance founder’s message to Crypto users after he was jailed 4-month by US government

Changpeng Zhao, the founder and ex-CEO of cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has been sentenced to four months in prison.
This is following his guilty plea to anti-money laundering law violations. US prosecutors had recommended a 3-year sentence for the Binance head.
The exchange was earlier charged with a $4.3 billion fine due to its various legal violations.
Reacting to court’s sentence jailing him 4 months, Zhao wrote on his X page, “I would like to thank everyone for your care and support, be it writing letters, showing support on X, or in any other form. They all mean a lot to me and keep me strong. I will do my time, conclude this phase and focus on the next chapter of my life (education).
“I will remain a passive investor (and holder) in crypto. Our industry has entered a new phase. Compliance is super important.
“A silver lining of this whole process is that Binance has been under the microscope. And funds are SAFU.
“Protect users!”
