Why EFCC declared ex-Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello, wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared the former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, wanted over an alleged case of money laundering.

According to the statement by the anti-graft agency, Bello, is wanted for an alleged case of money laundering to the tune of N80,246,470,089.88.

In its description of the suspect, EFCC described Bello as being 48-year-old Ebiraman and “a native of Okenne Local Government of Kogi State.

“His last known address is: 9, Benghazi, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.”
