Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi, fondly called Kunle Remi, is a Nigerian Nollywood Movie actor, filmmaker, media personality, and ex-Gulder Ultimate Search contestant.

He was born on 18th October 1988. Kunle Remi is 35 years old as of 2023

The award-winning actor is best known for his roles in Falling, Family Forever, Tinsel, and Aníkúlápó.

He also won the 7th edition of Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010.

After his secondary education, Kunle headed to the University of Ibadan to pursue a Fisheries and Wild Life Management degree. He dropped out midway to focus on acting.

Later, he proceeded to the New York Film Academy to study Filmmaking and Directing. 

Career

Kunle’s interest in his passion grew after he left school to seek a career in the film industry. He competed in the seventh season of the well-known Nigerian TV show Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010 before pursuing acting.

However, Kunle Remi chose to work in the entertainment sector after winning the competition in 2010. He started the business with the Stanlee Ohikhuare- and Grace Edwin Okon-produced film “Heavy Beauty.”

Additionally, he has acted in several movies, television shows, and stage productions, including Family Forever, Tinsel, Lagos Cougars Reloaded, The Getaway, Falling, and Africa Magic’s Forbidden.

He has been featured in several Africa Magic Original Films.

Kunle has also held a position as a TV host in a different role. He made his debut by covering the Academy Awards nomination ceremony live in Beverly Hills, California. He was a host at the Celebville 360 Internet TV station while attending the New York Film Academy. He was also appointed co-host of Gulder Ultimate Search in 2021.

The friendship between Kunle Remi and actress Bimbo Ademoye once sparked a dating rumour. However, Bimbo’s real boyfriend later proposed to her while Kunle Remi got married on January 20, 2024.

Bimbo was the best man to the groom, a development that further confirmed the duo are nothing but close friends.
