Nathaniel Bassey denies selling tickets for Hallelujah festival that started as IG live

Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has denied he is selling tickets for his Hallelujah Festival.

This comes after a user identified as Timi on the micro blogging platform known as X, accused the gospel singer of selling tickets to make a profit.

Timi wrote: “Hallelujah challenge that started as IG live, Nathaniel Bassey is already selling tickets for physical concert. see here is business growth. My God what a strategy.”

In response to the allegation, the gospel singer said they never sold any tickets.

He wrote: “Please o, those of you that got tickets, how much did you pay for it o? That’s how people tweet themselves to problems. May God forgive them. Please the tickets are free, registration is only required! We have never sold tickets and will never do. Satan is a LIAR!”

Nathaniel Bassey in June led a worship session that brought together top celebrities and thousands of followers from 12 midnight to 1 am each day.

The #HallelujahChallenge was so successful, that it notched up over 550,00 followers for the artiste, landed him a spot on CNN and saw his account verified by Instagram.

He rounded the programme off with the release of a single titled ‘Olowogbogboro’ and the Hallelujah Festival.
