Ajuri Ngelale is a Nigerian. He was born on 12 November to Chief Precious Osaro Ngelale, former Honourable Minister of State for Water Resources, and a German-US-born mother.
Ajuri Ngelale is an editor, columnist, and investigative reporter.
He was raised in the creeks of Ogoniland in the Niger Delta.
Ajuri had his secondary education at Government Secondary School in Port Harcourt before heading to the University of Kansas, where he bagged a degree in Political Science.
Upon returning to Nigeria from the United States, Ajuri worked as a reporter for African Independent Television (AIT) News.
He spent some years of his reporting career with Channels TV, where he started working as a TV presenter, producer, and senior news correspondent.
Ngelale is known to be a staunch defender of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and policies.
After his exit from Channels TV, he was appointed Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs by ex-President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ajuri Ngelale is married to an Igbo lady and has three kids.
He currently serves as the official Spokesperson & Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity.
