Courtney Richards is the wife of legendary broadcaster Jim Nantz. Nantz began working with the CBS Radio Network after his graduation. He has over 30 years of career as a broadcaster until he called the NCAA Final Four for the last time in Houston in 2023.
His wife, Courtney Richards, was the former Sales and Marketing vice president at IMG, a leading global talent management company.
Marriage
Courtney Richards got married to Jim Nantz in June 2012. Meanwhile, Nantz was earlier married to Ann-Lorraine Carlsen for 26 years until they officially divorced in 2009. Jim and Carlsen share a daughter named Caroline.
Nantz’s previous 26-year-marriage to his wife, Lorrie, ended acrimoniously in 2009 when he was ordered to pay nearly $1 million a year in alimony and child support for the couple’s daughter.

Nantz, 53, proposed to Richards, 33, in 2010 while on vacation with his close friend, former President George H.W. Bush at the Bush family compound in Walker’s Point Maine.
Jimmy and Courtney said “I do” at Pebble Beach. They were reported to have exchanged vows on the picturesque seventh hole of one of the world’s most famous golf courses.
Children
Courtney and Jim have a daughter, Finley Cathleen (born in March 2014), and a son Jameson (born in January 2016).
