Tinubu suspends 5% telco tax, excise duties on local products

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration has suspended the 5 per cent excise tax on telecommunication services as well as excise duties on locally manufactured products.

This was disclosed by Dele Alake, special adviser on special duties, communications and strategy to the president, on Thursday while speaking with state house correspondents.

Alake noted the development is contained in four executive orders signed by Tinubu.
