1. Choose a bank
Decide which bank you want to register for your BVN. You can choose any bank you choose as long as you have an account with them.
2. Visit the bank
Go to the nearest branch of the bank you have chosen.
3. Request for BVN registration
Request to register for a BVN, and you will be given a BVN enrollment form to fill out.
4. Fill the form
Fill out the form with your details, such as your full name, date of birth, phone number, and address.
5. Provide your biometric data
Provide your biometric data, including your fingerprints and photograph. This is usually done using a biometric capture device at the bank.
6. Submit the form
After providing your details and biometric data, submit the form to the bank.
7. Obtain your BVN
After your submission, your BVN will be generated and sent to the phone number or email address that you provided.
It is important to note that BVN registration is free, and you do not need to pay any fee to register. Ensure that the information you provide is accurate to avoid any issues with your BVN in the future. Once you have obtained your BVN, you can use it to access various banking services in Nigeria.
