Simon Ekpa is a Nigerian-Finnish lawyer, political activist, athlete, and separatist.

He was born on 21 March 1985. Simon Ekpa is 38 years as of 2023

The aggressive separatist became the director of the secessionist radio station, Radio Biafra, after the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.

His real name is reportedly Ifeanyi Njoku, according to some critics who believed he’s acting under a false name to incite violence.

Simon is known to allegedly incite violence in southeastern Nigeria in the agitation for the independent state of Biafra.

Education

Simon Ekpa graduated from Aberystwyth University, Wales.

Career

Before Simon drifted into activism, he represented Nigeria at the 2003 African Junior Athletics Championships in Cameroon, where he won a silver medal flying the green and white flag.

In 2007, he moved to Finland. Simon was a member of the Finland Military Reserve Force.

He lived in Lahti, Finland, where he joined the National Coalition Party of Finland and was a candidate in the 2022 Finnish county elections.

His agitation for Biafra began when he took over the leadership of the secessionist radio station, Biafra radio, after the arrest of its former leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Simon then used the radio station to incite violence in southeastern Nigeria.

The Finnish authority arrested Simon Ekpa on the 23rd of February, 2023. His arrest came after the Nigerian authority reported Simon to the Finnish government for inciting violence in the southeastern part of Nigeria
