Pele – 92 hattricks 

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, late Brazilian legend Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele, netted 92 hat-tricks in his football career.

He was considered the greatest ever to grace the game of football. Pele holds the record for most world cups(3) won by an individual in football history. A record yet to be broken

Cristiano Ronaldo – 61 hattricks 

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest ever to grace the game of football in modern times. The 38 years former Manchester United player has 61 hattricks to his name and still counting.

Lionel Messi – 56 hattricks 

The latest world cup winner, Lionel Messi, is undoubtedly an individual who has completed football.

The former Barcelona player led his national team to emerge as the World Cup winner in Qatar in 2022.

Messi has scored 56 hattricks in his prestigious career with the expectation of more to come as he is still gracing the grass.

Robert Lewandowski – 30 hattricks 

Lewandowski became the first player to hit the Champions League hattricks for three clubs. He has done it with Dortmund and Bayern Munich before heading to Barcelona to continue the goal-scoring duty.

Considered one of the most prolific strikers in history, Robert has scored 30 hattricks in his career so far.

Luis Suarez – 30 hattricks 

The top striker of the Uruguayan national soccer team, Luis Suarez, later played for Ajax and Liverpool before joining FC Barcelona in Spain. After his stint at Barcelona, he headed to Atletico Madrid to continue his goal-scoring duty.

He has won the Golden Boot award twice and is still regarded as one of the top attackers in the world. He also holds the record for most goals scored in Europe.

Sergio Aguero – 17 hattricks

Former Manchester City goal machine Sergio Aguero is worth mentioning on this list as he has seventeen hattricks.

The exargentine striker started his career with Independiente before joining Atlético Madrid for a record fee of €20 million.

His goal-scoring ability attracted Premier League side Manchester City who brought him to the Etihad. Aguero is one of the most lethal strikers ever to grace the premiership.

Edinson Cavani – 15 hattricks

Cavani is a goal machine like his fellow Uruguayan compatriot, Luis Suarez.

The prolific striker toured major European clubs in his illustrious career and graced the game with his goal-scoring dexterity.

Cavani has fifteen hattricks in his football career.

Radamel Falcao – 12 hattricks

This Colombian forward scored twelve hat tricks in his career, making him the best and prolific hat trick scorer in the UEFA Europa League.

In the La Liga match against 2012 Europa League champions Athletic Bilbao, Falcao recorded his first hat-trick. His second hattrick, which occurred in the 2012 UEFA Super Cup against Chelsea, was notable.
