Biography

Abiodun Ibrahim Chatta, fondly called Ibrahim Chatta, is a Nollywood actor, singer and scriptwriter.

He was born on 13 October 1970. Ibrahim is 53 years as of 2023.

The award-winning actor is known for his versatility and effortlessly interpreting of movie roles.

Education

Ibrahim had his elementary education at Saint Bridges Catholic primary school, Kwara State, before heading to Government Secondary School, Bachita and Dende Secondary School, Aggiea, for his secondary education.

Career

Ibrahim began professional acting in 1985 under the tutelage of Joseph Laoye. 

He rose to prominence for his role in the movie “Aiyekooto” shot him to prominence. Ibrahim is known for his ability to use the command of Yoruba perfectly when interpreting his roles.

Some of the popular movies he has featured in include Mafi wonmi, Atinio’go, October 1, Leyin Igbeyawo, Irawo, Oke Akisa Aiye, Dudu, Odunbaku Omin Awure.

Aside from acting, Ibrahim is also a singer who produces movie soundtracks and commercial jingles. 

He has also released some hip-pop songs like My Money, Area, Friday Night, Boom Boom Boom.

Marriage

Chatta is married to Olaide Aishat, also known as Lizzy Berry.
